When you come to Petland, you can expect to see any combination
of the following types of animals:
|
Green Anoles:
Small, easy to keep lizards for everyone! Although they
are native to most of the southern United States, purchasing
an Anole from Petland instead of catching them outside
insures that your child will not be bringing other parasites
into their terrarium. Plus, our Anoles are already conditioned
to living in captivity and are readily accepting their
food. |
 |
|
Leopard Gecko:
Great lizard for children who are starting into the reptile
hobby. Leopard Geckos are very beautiful, fairly easy
to care for and are easy to handle. |
 |
|
Corn Snakes:
Great beginners snake! Corn snakes come in a wide variety
of colors & patterns. Their average size of four feet
when full grown is still easy enough to handle for almost
everyone. |
 |
|
King Snakes:
Like the Corn snakes, these too come in many colors and
patterns. However there are several different species
of King Snakes available. |
 |
|
Milk Snakes:
Very beautiful red, black & yellow snakes that imitate
the deadly coral snake. The easy way to tell the difference
when you see one is say to yourself, "Red touch black,
friend of Jack. Red touch yellow, kill a fellow." |
 |
|
Bearded Dragon:
These fun and beautiful lizards resemble the Desert Horned
Lizard (a.k.a. the Horny Toad). They are great for any
level reptile hobbyist. Bearded Dragon's have an incredible
appetite and require desert conditions. |
 |
|
Ball Python:
Our Ball Pythons are locally bred right here in the Dallas/Fort
Worth area. We never buy imported Ball Pythons! The breeder
we use also has available some of the more rare color
patterns like the mojave, granite, pastel, spiders and,
hopefully soon, piebald. |
 |
|
Red Tail Boa:
These are large snakes reaching 10 to 14 feet and weighing
up to 200 pounds! Red Tail Boas are not for everyone,
however if you are an experienced snake keeper and ready
for the next level, this is the snake for you! |
 |
|
Tarantula:
Tarantulas come in easy to care for types to hard to care
for types. Our selection changes regularly, so check with
us to see what is available. The most frequent types we
carry are Rose Hair, Cobalt Blue, Pink Toe, Starburst
Baboon, & Mexican Red Knee tarantulas. |
