Petland hosts 2nd annual Adopted Pets Reunion Event

(Pittsburgh, PA, February 6, 2017) – In honor of the continued success of their Animal Shelter Adoption Program (ASAP), Petland Village of Eastside is hosting it's 2nd Annual Adopted Pets Reunion on Saturday February 11, 2017 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Family fun activities will include making paw prints of your pet with Color Me Mine, Pet/Owner pictures by The City Camera and Q&A with the Point Breeze Veterinary Clinic.  All pets in attendance will receive a free gift bag.  

Petland is proud of its six-year history developing the ASAP program. The store works with shelters and rescue groups to help puppies, dogs, kittens and cats find their forever homes. The store also works with the Point Breeze Veterinary Clinic who provides vaccinations, spay/neuter services and microchipping.

Since the program’s implementation, the store has helped place over 1,400 pets.

“We are very proud of finding homes for so many homeless pets,” said Marci Caplan, owner with husband Eric of the Petland in the Village of EastSide. “We are excited to share these milestones with our customers.”
