What about the what ifs? What happens when puppies don’t sell at Petland?

It’s a question Petland has received from time to time and the answer is quite simple… ALL puppies find homes!

Every puppy that comes through our door is adopted by our customers, with the typical Petland puppy stay being less than two weeks. Petland has been in business for more than five decades, so it’s safe to say we are experienced in selecting the right puppies for our customers.

Petland works with Canine Care Certified breeders who select great puppies for us. If, for some reason, a puppy is in the store longer than usual, we work diligently to find the puppy a home with featured specials and discounts. We are very good at this.

Our pet counselors undergo extensive and ongoing training in matching our puppies with our customers and at times, those same pet counselors and other Petland employees have become customers taking home puppies and making them a part of their everyday life… taking car rides, going on long walks and even, becoming regulars in the office!

So yes… every Petland puppy finds a home!
